Octagon House, Northwich
Octagon House was an office building which was purpose built in 1987 for its previous occupier a large UK retail bank, originally being used as a contact centre for the bank’s business banking division with elements of its investment banking and wealth management also operating out of the location. The layout of the building comprises of two storeys with a figure of eight footprint. The bank departed the building in 2022, citing the move as a result of the changing working environment and more of a shift to a working from home model. At the time of the closure most of the staff were relocated to other offices, since then the building has sat unused and has entered a state of disrepair.
