The Shropshire Saw Mill

A Grade II-listed, single‑storey, red-brick saw mill, likely dating from the late 19th century, the site features a slate and corrugated-iron roof, a square tapering chimney, and a small crane alongside narrow‑gauge railway tracks leading into the building. Now derelict, the mill’s machinery still occupies its main hall, while the surrounding outbuildings appear maintained and intermittently used—one even housed a running generator when explorers visited in April 2024.
